Meditation – Where I Am Is Perfect

Some days I feel focused – certain of where I am and where I am headed. Other days I feel unsure, alone and frightened because of what I am choosing to focus upon. Can you relate?

As I leap into a bigger, “Come to the Edge Today” life, I am learning to become more consistent in my focus and choice of thoughts. However, on those days where I am teetering, I find this meditation to not only be soothing, but a powerful re-focuser as well.

I offer this inspiration to you, fellow traveler.  May this meditation be a companion on your journey also.

A Meditation – Where I Am is Perfect

I am where I am and it’s ok

I am where I am and it’s ok

I am where I am and it’s ok

I am where I am and it’s ok

I am where I am and it’s ok

I am where I am and it’s ok

There is a bigger picture.

There is nothing to overcome.

There is nothing to prove.

There is nothing to deserve.

Everything is unfolding perfectly.

Everything is unfolding perfectly.

I am rendezvousing with perfection.

I am rendezvousing with perfection.

(Repeat)

Today’s “leaping exercise”:  Allow yourself a minimum of 15 uninterupted minutes.  Find a quiet, relaxing spot; get comfortable either sitting or lying down.  Light a candle.  If you find it helpful, play quiet, soothing instrumental music (silence is also perfect).  Set a soothing, peaceful mood.

Close your eyes and breathe deeply for ½ to 1 minute. When relaxed, read the above meditation over and over (for about 10 minutes or until you feel complete). Read it slowly, intentionally, and with focus upon each word. (If you prefer,  pre-record the meditation,  then listen.)  Breathe deeply after each phrase.  Make it your intention to feel each phrase.  Allow the words to touch you – to speak to you and through you.

When complete, give thanks and gratitude for where you are and who You are.  Journal your feelings, inspiration and change.
