Celebrating 2 Years at ‘The Edge’ – My Gift to You, The Prayer of St. Francis

This month is the celebration of my 2nd year anniversary of Come to the Edge Today“!  THANK YOU  for  sharing this amazing journey with me!   In honor of all of you fellow “leapers”, I’d like to share with you the prayer that has been my life’s inspiration – The Prayer of St. Francis.

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

May we come to know that we are One – When I console you, I am consoled.  When I strive to understand you, I am understood.  When I love you, I am loved.  Thank you for helping me to experience this……….
